Red Hill House & Studio

by Zuzana & Nicholas

Our work: Video

A reimagined 1910 worker's cottage where architecture practice meets family life on a busy Brisbane intersection.

This Red Hill project combines family home with architecture studio. The house fits two adults, two kids, and a practice that opens directly onto the street.

We didn’t want to film the usual room-by-room tour. Instead we captured everyday moments in this dual-purpose space. How morning light works with the steel mesh screen. Kids playing while work happens below. The way the garden becomes part of the interior when walls slide back.

Rather than documenting every detail, we focused on how it feels to live and work in these compact spaces.
