Cloudview

Designed for weekend escapes, Cloudview is a holiday cabin nestled in Springbrook National Park, Queensland.

Its U-shaped plan separates living spaces for privacy while embracing the rainforest, offering views from the Tweed Valley to the Gold Coast. The cabin’s roof design collects rainwater and minimises maintenance, creating a harmonious blend of function and beauty.

We spent a day in the stunning Gold Coast hinterland, capturing the cabin’s best aspects from the ground and above. Conducting detailed pre-production gave us a thorough understanding of the project and enriched the interview with insightful talking points.
