HOTA, Home of the Arts

by ARM Architecture, ARUP

A vibrant cultural hub celebrating creativity and community

HOTA, Home of the Arts, designed by ARM Architecture, is a contemporary gallery situated in the Gold Coast’s cultural precinct. The venue features a unique vertical layout and a striking 3D Voronoi exterior. One of Australia’s largest regional galleries, HOTA spans 5,500 m² and includes six immersive gallery areas and a rooftop bar.

Part of a larger precinct masterplan, HOTA integrates art, performance, and community spaces, connecting with surrounding parklands, a lake, and the outdoor amphitheatre to create a vibrant cultural hub.

Ravens At Odds collaborated with ARM, ARUP, and HOTA staff to coordinate a multiday production and create a film for GCOH 2021, showcasing the architecture, engineering, cultural significance, and community impact of the HOTA Gallery.

The film highlights the innovative design, the collaborative process, and the gallery’s role in the cultural landscape of the Gold Coast.
