Pricing

Typical investment ranges across our services

Every project is different. Scope, scale, and intent shape how we approach the work, so pricing reflects the outcome you’re trying to achieve.

Brand

Audit & workshop

A facilitated strategy process that clarifies who you are, who you’re for, and how your practice should be positioned moving forward.

This work typically includes a review of your current online presence and a structured workshop to explore your goals, values and direction. The outcome is clear positioning and a defined communication direction to guide your brand, website and marketing.

From $3,000 +GST

The investment scales with practice size and complexity. Larger practices often involve more stakeholders, perspectives and alignment work, which increases the depth of facilitation and synthesis required.

Messaging guide

A practical language system that translates your strategy into tone of voice, key messaging and example language your team can apply consistently across your website, proposals and day to day communications.

Instead of guessing how to describe your work or rewriting proposals from scratch, you have a clear framework for how to speak about your services, process and values in a way that resonates with the right clients.

$2,500 – $7,000 +GST

The investment for a Messaging Guide is scoped based on the complexity of your services, the number of communication contexts it needs to support, and the level of stakeholder alignment required.

Messaging guides vs copywriting

Messaging guides define how your brand sounds and provide example language, but are separate from full website copywriting. Think of it as a style guide for language, demonstrating tone, structure and rhythm rather than delivering final, layout-specific copy.

Effective website copy depends on page structure, hierarchy and design context, which sit outside the scope of a messaging guide. If you’d like, we can then apply this voice to your website as a separate copywriting stage once design direction is defined.

Website design & development

Platform restrictions

We don’t build new sites on proprietary platforms like Squarespace or Wix. They’re great for owner-managed sites, but they limit custom design and long-term maintenance and flexibility.

Website refresh

A refresh within an existing WordPress, Squarespace or Wix site is limited to copy updates and image replacements.

It does not include structural changes, new templates, custom code, integrations, performance improvements, or SEO work.

This option suits practices who need their messaging brought up to date, without changing how the site is built.

From $5,000 +GST

Full WordPress rebuild

A full rebuild is a ground-up website project, typically for small to mid-sized practices This includes:

  • Content structure and user journey planning
  • Custom design aligned to your brand
  • Responsive development across all devices
  • Content creation or refinement where needed
  • Technical setup, testing and pre-launch checks
  • Training and handover so you can manage updates confidentl

Investment increases with complexity, including integrations, SEO requirements, custom functionality and content volume.

Starting from $13,000 + GST

What goes into a proper rebuild

A robust website is more than design and development It involves:

  • Structural thinking and user experience
  • Careful handling of existing content and services
  • Technical setup that won’t cause issues later
  • Time allowed for testing, refinement and rollout

We plan for the details that often get overlooked — access and credentials, content migration, staging environments, responsive fixes, SEO basics, and launch contingencies.

Video

Scope and scale vary with each project, so the ranges above are indicative rather than fixed packages. Most video projects include shorter social cut-downs where appropriate.

Project highlight reels are often produced as additional deliverables alongside a project showcase or documentary, but can also be commissioned on their own.

Short-form explainers are typically produced in batches of 3–4 videos, making efficient use of a shoot day and keeping costs down.

If a project spans multiple locations, interviews, or deliverables, we’ll shape the scope collaboratively to suit the project and budget.

Residential and commercial projects at any scale. Pricing varies based on project scale, shoot duration, and licensing.

Standard image licensing is included and covers typical practice use, including websites, social media, submissions, awards, and digital editorial.

Travel days, flights & accommodation

For work outside the Brisbane metro area, a flat travel day fee of $600 +GST per crew member applies. This reflects standard industry practice and covers time spent in transit and minor incidentals. Flights, accommodation, car hire, and other direct travel costs are charged separately.

Combined video & photography

We often plan video and photography together to improve consistency and build a stronger body of work.

We’ll usually discuss this early and tailor an approach based on what you actually need.

Ongoing production

For practices needing regular content, we offer structured production plans.

Working together over time allows for:

  • Priority access to production
  • Better alignment with your marketing rhythm
  • More efficient use of existing footage
  • Consistency across projects and platforms

Ongoing work is structured case by case. We’ll talk through timing, priorities, and scope before recommending an approach.

Pricing is influenced by:

  • Scope and complexity
  • Number of filming or shoot days
  • Interviews and locations
  • Gear and crew requirements
  • Final deliverables and formats
  • Travel and accommodation outside of the Brisbane metropolitan area

We price for thoughtful planning, calm production, and work that represents you properly.

If you’re unsure what you need, we’ll talk it through and recommend an approach before anything is locked in.

“Prior to coming to site that day, Nikolas interviewed me on the phone, he looked at the floor plans; he understood the building. Even before I'd watched the first cut, I was confident it was going to be good. Because I knew, here’s a guy who's done his homework, he cares. I was impressed by that”
Lisa EvansNational Marketing Manager, Place Design Group
“Creativity fused with pure passion is what you get working with Ravens At Odds. Nikolas’ eye for detail and capturing things most people don’t see is impressive. “Watching a Ravens At Odds film is like experiencing a project for the first time. And in the best way without physically being there. There’s a humanistic scale and a slowness to the story. I appreciate the thought and consideration that went into it”
